Über uns
Via Austroboreal e.V. is an organisation based in Berlin with collaborations in Europe und Latin America
Our members are professionals with diverse expertise who complement each other in working towards a shared goal: promoting just, inclusive, and sustainable development. We are deeply committed to supporting vulnerable populations and fragile ecosystems. Our projects impact both urban and rural communities, wherever life flourishes and there is a need for meaningful support.
Was Wir Machen
We seek to establish permanent collaboration and cooperation between Europe and countries with more constrained development opportunities
We design and implement strategies for projects that promote the responsible and forward-thinking use of natural and financial resources, while acknowledging the importance of communities having agency in the decisions that relate to their lands, territories, cultures, populations and development. We want to enable sustainable and community-friendly development across territories and ecosystems.
We work in Germany mostly in cooperation projects with other organizations based in other EU countries and Latin America. We are currently expanding to collaborations with North African countries as well.
We also do consultancy for the development of public policies and strategic socio-urban plans. We all have a strong commitment to populations and ecosystems in situations of vulnerability and risk. The projects we develop seek to have an impact both in urban and rural environments.
We are committed to spreading knowledge and actively collaborate on educational projects. We believe in diverse approaches to education that include non-hierarchical spaces and encourage inclusive, participatory learning where every voice is valued.
